This Valentine’s weekend, indulge in a delicious, decadent 5 course menu – finished with a glass of pink Prosecco and coffee with handmade chocolate truffles

Start with a glass of pink Prosecco and canapes in the bar whilst choosing from a 5 course menu…

Starters 

Pan fried scallops, butternut squash purée and pancetta crumb

Crispy duck spring roll, cucumber salad and bbq sauce

Garlic king prawns served with garlic butter and sourdough bread

Fig, burrata and prosciutto tartine

Tomato and pesto tarts (V,Ve)

Soup dish 

French onion soup topped Gruyère cheese

Asparagus soup with lemon served with croutons (V,Ve)

Mains 

Sirloin steak, king prawns, homemade chips, steak mushroom, tomato and rocket and Parmesan salad

Escalope of wild sea bass with sautéed smoked bacon, red chicory, runner beans and red wine sauce

Loin of venison, served with fondant potato, black pudding purée and smoked beetroot

Pan fried chicken supreme, mash, asparagus, wild mushroom and garlic veloute

Butternut squash tortellini served with wild mushroom and spinach (V,Ve)

Cleanser dish 

Raspberry and sorrel sorbet

Desserts 

Strawberry and custard mille-feuille served with fruit sorbet

Rhubarb crème brûlée with homemade shortbread

Warm Chocolate fondant served with salted caramel butter sauce

Crepes served with chocolate hot sauce and double chocolate chip ice cream

Chocolate and cherry tart served with raspberry compote and raspberry sauce (V,Ve)
