Perfect Fourth Saxophone Quartet at St Augustine’s Church Draughton

Popular local ensemble Perfect Fourth Saxophone Quartet will be giving an afternoon concert in Draughton on Sunday 2 March.

The concert starts at 2.30pm in St Augustine’s Church in Draughton.  Refreshments will be available in the interval.

The ensemble will showcase the versatility of the saxophone, playing a wide range of musical styles. With music ‘From Bach to Billie Eilish,’ including classical, jazz, well-known music from the silver screen and modern popular songs, there will be something for everyone!

The concert is to raise money for the Holy Trinity Skipton Carbon Neutral Heating and Improved Accessibility appeal. The cost of the project is currently estimated to be £637,000 and has a start date of 1 September 2025.

Rector of Holy Trinity Skipton, Rev Canon Dr James Theodosius said: “Our fundraising appeal is in full ‘swing’ and we are incredibly grateful to Perfect Fourth for offering, once again, their talents and gifts and providing a rhythm and melody to our fundraising!  The project will help us to go carbon neutral and significantly improve accessibility in a Medieval Grade 1 listed heritage church.”

Tickets are £12.50 for adults, £5 for under-18s, available from: https://wegottickets.com/event/638420
