Flow Like Water: An Exhibition of Paintings by Brian Burton

Respected, professional Fine Artist BRIAN BURTON returns after two and a half years for a solo show at Craven Arts House.

‘Flow Like Water’ is an exhibition of stunning paintings that celebrate both the power and beauty of this vital element. They are the result of weeks and months of contemplation and avid sketching inspired by local watercourses.

 Brian trained for 7 years at some of the UKs leading art institutions: Loughborough College of Art, Manchester Polytechnic and U.M.I.S.T.He began his professional career lecturing in drawing ,design and constructed textiles nurturing and inspiring young emerging talent. For over 25 years he designed for the Yorkshire textile industry, fully utilising his passion for colour and texture. During that period he continued to paint, exhibit and sell his work.He has paintings and designs in corporate and private collections throughout the U.K, Europe and North America.
