Makers’ Fair and Open Studios
We are really looking forward to our first ever Makers’ Fair, which will be held over the August bank holiday weekend to celebrate the final days of the Skipton Now Festival and the opening of the Craven Arts House Community Hall.
Talented makers are coming from all around to sell their work, including Craven Arts members and local creatives. The artists’ studios will be open to the public and visitors can participate in free taster still life drawing workshops. There are several breath-taking exhibitions to enjoy: local artist Alfonsas Paulauskas, The Yorkshire Mural created by Year Six pupils from Greatwood and Christ Church schools, and Craven College students’ fabulous black and white photography project, ‘Humans of Skipton’.
