Collections in Focus: Elbolton Cave

Elbolton Cave near Grassington had been used for over 5,000 years by humans and animals. First excavated by Reverend E. Jones and members of the Craven Naturalists Society (1889-1891) and then again by Arthur Raistrick and Mary Kitson-Clark (1920), many of the finds are now in Craven Museum.

Join the curatorial team for a short talk about the history of the cave and why it’s important.
