‘Skeletons in the Family Closet – Writing Your Family History’

If you’ve ever wondered about sharing a story from your family’s past with others – come along and meet author Christina Longden.

Christina will be running a workshop at Skipton Library and will tell you about her own experience of researching, writing, and touring the country to share with others the tale of her great x3 grandfather, the Victorian ‘Hidden’ Muslim Mayor of Manchester.

This will be an enjoyable and enlightening session with plenty of tips and hints on starting the process of writing your own family history story, memoir, or autobiography.
