Stroke Awareness Day
Stroke Awareness Day Stroke Awareness Day
Skipton Town Hall, High Street, Skipton
BD23 1AH

Saturday 29 April is Stroke Awareness Day!

Every 4 minutes somebody has a stroke in the UK.

Skipton Rotarians will be encouraging members of the public to have their blood pressure taken by qualified personnel between 10am and 4pm, outside Skipton Town Hall.

Just come along, quick blood pressure check, no appointment necessary.

RTN Lyn Rhodes-Holme, the Community Co-ordinator for the Stroke Association, will be working alongside Skipton Community First Responders, checking blood pressure and raising awareness.

Coffee, biscuits and information available from their luxury caravan outside Skipton Town Hall on Saturday 29 April!

Skipton Rotary Club will be collecting throughout the day for the Stroke Association (Charity no. 211015), who give vital support with recovery after a stroke.
